Welcome to our very new, very exciting (not quite finished) website. Creating it has been a real labour of love! We are launching the site with the first five categories. I know that it must be very frustrating for those of you who have been Merrypak customers for a long time as many of your favourite products are not yet loaded. Please bare with us, it is an enormous task and is going to take us a while. Keep visiting our site as we are adding new content continuously. We are also constantly cleaning up the minor errors that seem to creep in on such an enormous  project.

When you purchase a Merrypak carrier bag or box, you can be sure that you are supporting local industry. We manufacture in-house and our carrier bags are all hand folded and glued. Many of our 160 staff came from the clothing industry when cheap  imports forced many clothing companies to close. We have found a niche which provides ongoing employment.

If you are in Cape Town, please pop in to visit our store and see what’s new. Despite the miserable winter weather, you will receive a very warm welcome.  Come and experience our friendly service, a HUGE range of products and delicious meals in our coffee shop. First timers, just mention my name and our coffee shop staff will give you a free cup of our delicious filter coffee. Unfortunately, you are unlikely to find me as I am usually hiding away somewhere, working on improving your online shopping experience!
